Sunday Worship at AMC

Sunday worship at Atkinson Memorial Church is at 10:30 am. Religious Education (RE) for children and youth is also available at that time.

Worship typically begins with adults and youth together in our sanctuary. Following intergenerational activities which often includes a children's story, the youth are sent with their teachers to their RE classes.

Following the worship service at approximately 11:30, coffee, tea and cookies are typically served in our Dome Room behind the sanctuary, where visitors may be greeted and old-timers do their thing. During this time youth often entertain themselves in the church basement, where FoosBall and other kids games may beckon, or join the adults upstairs for cookies and adult company.

Dress is casual and a typical Sunday will see as many people in blue jeans as in jackets and ties or heels and hose.
