Purpose:
The mission of the Finance Committee of Atkinson Memorial Church is to
implement the church’s fiscal policies and procedures with respect
to the budgeting, collecting, disbursing, and accounting for the assists
of the congregation.
Responsibilities:
Develop operating budget, track income and expenses, keep record of pledges, monitor pledge drive, general fundraising activities.
Endowment Subcommittee
Purpose:
To obtain funds and assets from church members, friends, etc., and maintain them in an endowment fund separate from the operating fund.
Responsibilities:
Educate the congregation in how to contribute to the endowment fund; invest the funds and assets to achieve the best return within a conservative approach; track the fund, report to the finance committee.
Stewardship Subcommittee
Chair:
Bill Meade, abcnrmeade@msn.com
Purpose:
To conduct a face to face canvass for the church. Responsibilities:
Leadership to plan and implement process to gather pledges required to
fund the vision as determined by the congregation. Interpret financial
needs and educate church members on the responsibilites and means of stewardship.
